Conscious sedation

Patients inhale a mixture of N2O2 and O2 gases during the treatment.
This gas mixture relieves distress, fear, but does not cease pain therefore it is necessary to use anaesthetic. Patients are totally conscious during the treatment, they can cooperate with the dentist and assistant. Patients can have slightly torpid limbs, their mood will rise, their distress eases and they will get in a positively good humour.
The inhalation of this gas does not cause any complication. It does not cease or impact the effect of any kind of medication. There is no absolute contraindication against it, it is only pregnant women who it can not be given to. Relative contraindications can be: cold, running nose, flu as nose hollows are not free and the inhalation of gas is held up.
It is not necessary to come with an empty stomach and there is no laboratory examination beforehand.
It has no side-effects like nausea or dizziness.
There is no time limitation for the treatment. It can be applied as long as necessary to complete the dental treatment.
After finishing the treatment oxygen is given to the patient so it will wash out the mixture from the body therefore it does not leave any effects and the patient can leave on his/her own feet.
There is no age limit, it can be applied in all ages.
